Colorado Backcountry Expeditions
The Wild
Doesn’t Wait.
Guided hiking, fly fishing, and backcountry camping for those who want more than a trail map. We know these mountains — every ridge, every run, every camp spot worth sleeping under the stars.
⛰️
We Go Where Google Maps Ends
Summit & Stream Outfitters runs fully guided expeditions into Colorado’s most spectacular backcountry — from the San Juans to the Weminuche Wilderness. Our guides are not just certified; they grew up out here. They know the elk patterns, the hatches, the weather windows, and the campsites that make a trip unforgettable rather than just survivable.
Small groups. Real wilderness. No shortcuts.

Fly Fishing
Wild cutthroat and brown trout in cold, clear Colorado streams. Our licensed guides know the hatches, the holes, and the water. Perfect for beginners learning the cast and for seasoned anglers chasing serious fish.

Leave No Trace Principles
We hold LNT Master Educator certification. These are public lands — we treat them that way, and we teach our guests to do the same.
“We still talk about that trip. It genuinely changed how we spend time together as a family.”
